Glasgow Chamber Music

Historic chamber music course for amateur and student musicians.  Applications from pre-formed groups or individuals welcome.
The long-established Glasgow Chamber Music weekend runs annually at Wolfson Hall, Glasgow.  Many of our ensembles are well established and we also encourage new players of all ages and stages to discover the joys of making music together. 
Course director Michael Beeston is one of the Uk's most respected and well known chamber musicians. Along with his chosen specialist tutors in violin, viola, cello and wind instruments, his expertise is at the heart of this popular choice for chamber music players. 


​Participants are welcomed late Friday afternoon, followed by dinner, rehearsal and settling in.  Throughout Saturday and Sunday, musical endeavours are supported by experienced, knowledgable, aproachable and brilliant tutors.  Saturday evening is open to string orchestra and larger ensembles. Wine optional! Persuade the tutors to join in or support.  You are welcome to bring your own music choices or try our suggested larger ensemble repertoire.  The weekend makes for a lively and satisfying experience with excellent food included and accommodation if required.
